Dear Jean Little.

Hello. My name is Moring Armstrong.
I'm a fan of your books. 
About two years ago I read Emma's YUCKY BROTHER, and I had some 
special feeling from this book. Because the air that this book have 
is different from other children's book. And I like it. Then I read 
another Emma's story, Emma's MAGIC WINTER. After this I read Hey 
World, Here I am!, this is my most favorite book now. And I got sure 
that I like your books. Then I read other two books those are 
related Hey World, Here I Am!.

Now I'd like to tell my things. I'm Japanese. And I'm a grownup near 
your age rather than a child. But I'm reading children books. 
Actually I'm a member of a book-reading club. The objective of this 
a book-reading club is to read paperbacks for grownups. In a fact 
many Japanese want to read paperbacks in English. But almost 
Japanese cannot read them. Then at this book-reading club we get 
start with very easy book such as My First A I Can Read Books or 
Penguin Readers level 0. Usually it takes one to three years to get 
ability of reading paperbacks for grownups. And almost members keep 
reading children's books even after they could read paperbacks. Then 
many people of our book-reading club have read your books and they 
like them.

I guess you like or at least you are interesting in Japan or 
Japanese. Because one sub-character of your book, DIFFERENT DRAGONS, 
is a Japanese girl. When I read the story I feel more familiar with 
you.

I got LITTLE BY LITTLE this week from US; I bought a second hand 
because we cannot get new this book now. I am looking foreword to 
read your own story.

それも何と "san"付けです。"Moring"の部分は実際には私の名前ではなく、
ちゃんと苗字になってました。それに、日本に住んでたことがあったなんて
ちっとも知りませんでした。

Japanese. I lived in Kanazawa from 1972-1975. I really enjoyed your
