ご無沙汰しています。あるがです。 ５００万語通過報告です。 ■基礎情報 通過日： 2004年3月31日 期間： 11月19日に400万語通過後4ヶ月と10日余り。 多読開始後1年9ヶ月ちょっと。93週目での通過。 通過時レベル：レベル3が中心。 読む速度：相変わらず遅い。と思う。 読んだ冊数：400万語から500万語では121冊。通しで583冊。 詳細一覧は最後に。 ■経過 450万語まではまあまあのペースだったが、仕事が忙しくなり 450万語以降ペースダウン。ひたすらレベル3の100万語だった。 シリーズ物、 A to Z Mysteries、20冊 Magic Tree House Research Guide、8冊 Magic School Bus、27冊 Encyclopedia Brown、9冊 Mr. Majeika、7冊 を続けざまに読んで、冊数は多かった。 ちょっと偏りのある読み方かなあ。 500万語通過本はSacharの「Someday Angeline」。 とても良かったけど、もっと深く読めないのが悔しい。 ■面白かった本 Magic School Bus は総じて良かった。 A to Z Mysteries も子供だましみないなところがあるけど楽しめた。 Macmillan(Heineman) で「B IS FOR BURGLAR」 「Island in the Sun」 「NEW YEAR'S SURPRISE ,A」 「DAWSON'S CREEK:Major Meltdown」 も良かったし、 Jacqueline Wilson の 「SLEEPOVERS」も良かった。 ■思ったほどでは本 Encyclopedia Brownを９冊読んだが、続きを買おうかどうか思案中。 ■感想 500万語だぁ。でも、相変わらずレベル3。読むのも遅いし。 当初目標の500万語まできたけど、進歩ないなあ。 イーゴーエイテンが少し聞き取れるようになったような気もするけど。 もともと本を読むのは好きだし、続いてるんだからいいや。 ■これから とにかく読むのは続ける。 シャドーイングと文法もスタートしたい。 次なる目標は1000万語だが、ゆっくり行こう。
