I think you have made great progress toward writing
natural-sounding English!

〉I went to Rakugo performance yesterday at Wahha Hall in Chuo Ward near Nanba Station. I believe this is my 3rd time to go to the hall for Rakugo in English.

〉Last night, over 200 people gathered at the hall. And 7 persons, 4 men and 3 women, performed Rakugo in English. 4 of them were foreigners and 3 were Japanese. One Japanese person was a professional Hanashika whose name was Katsura Kaishi. But other persons were amateurs.

〉They performed excellently. But the best performer was Ms. Diane Orrett. I like her most. Her stage name was “Daian 吉日”. Ms. Diane is a British woman and she had a cheerful smile. We could burst out laughing when we sow her smile even in the very beginning of her storytelling.

〉She has lived in Japan many years and she has a flower arrangement master license and a Kimono master license. Besides, she can speak good Osaka dialect Japanese!

〉She told a story named “The Kid”. To my great surprise, she wrote the story by herself.

〉The story was about first date. ------------------

〉A woman was going to make a first date with a perfect candidate for her marriage. He was a lawyer and he was handsome, clever and rich.
〉She made herself up, wore very expensive cloths and she hastened to go to a amusement park to meet him.

〉She was very surprised when she saw a little girl with him. She found he was a single father. And he suddenly said he had a trouble in his office and he had to leave. But the kid wanted to go around and to play in the park. So the woman had to take care of the kid.

〉The kid made many troubles against the woman. Her clothes got mess and her face was miserable. When the father came back from his office, she was very tired.

〉The father asked his daughter, how was going. The kid said she had a great time with the woman. And the father said to the woman “Now, you have passed the first test.”

〉------------------ I felt at first the father had coldness. But at last, I felt the father had a warm mind and he loved not only his daughter but the woman as well. What a relief!

〉I met Noppo-san in the intermission. After the performance, we had a drink. We had a nice day!
