このごろな本たち　9

みなさま、こんにちは。みちるです。

今回は、ブッククラブの（ある日の）Rookie-Read-AboutシリーズとRookie Readersを
読了したので、いいタイミングかなぁということで報告を書いておきます。
（Excelで230超えているのだけどといったら、書きなさいと昨日いわれましたし。。）
貸し出し中の本もあると思うのですが、多分90%以上の本は、今回と前回の報告で
カバーされていると思います。
Rookieと、今は引き続きWelcome Booksを読んでいるのですが、どちらもノンフィクション
写真絵本という感じの本で、同じテーマが何度か繰り返されて出てきます。
祝日や、簡単な科学用語？みたいなことになじみができてきて、それがちょっとうれしいかも。
専門用語みたいな語が混じるのでそれが難しいと感じる方もいるかもしれませんが、
お話を読む中での気分転換としても、お話しの中とは違う語に触れられるという意味でも、
こういう簡単なノンフィクションを混ぜて読むのはいいのではないかなぁと思います。

簡単な本をメインにずっと読み進めていると、PBなども、一語一語読むように読んで
いくようになってしまいました。。今は、さらさらととばすようにして読むというのが
ちょっとできなくなっています。（読む速度も明らかに遅くなっていますし。。）
メインに読んでいる本によって、読み方も変わってくるんだなぁと認識しました。
今はPBは、あまりにも時間がかかりすぎて、ちょっと無理かも。。
まぁ、語数の多い本をメインに読んでいったら、また読む速度も上がってくると思うので、
来月の前半くらいまでは、簡単な本を読み進めていこうかなぁと思っています。

最近は、週に3本くらい映画を見始めました。
BBCの古典作品は、発音も丁寧でゆっくりなので、とても見やすいです。
その他に最近見たのは「Calender Girls」と「Love Actually」

詳しい内容はリンクをご参照いただけたらと思うのですが、どちらもとてもよかったです。
「Calender Girls」の方は、50代くらいの女性たちが輝いていて、女の人が
元気が出るような作品だと思いますし、「Love Actually」の方は、楽しくて
気持ちがいいちょっと幸せな気分になるクリスマス映画でした。
コリン・ファースはダーシーさまじゃなくても素敵〜。ちょっと作品を追いたくなりました。
ヒュー・グラントのちょっとお間抜けなダンスも楽しくて、ちょっとヒュー・グラントが好きに
なったかも。
「シャンプー台の向こうで」にでていた二人もよかったですね。
個人的に、一番いいなぁと思ったのは、初恋の男の子と義理の父親のコンビ。いいなぁ。

一部は冊数でまとめていますが、300冊分くらいあるので、ひたすら長いです。。
もっとまとめればよかったかな。

これは、ほんとの飽きずに楽しく読めました。
アリゲーターとクロコダイルの違いとか、いろいろな宗教の祝日とか、
虫や動物についてなど学ぶことも結構多かったです。

テレビのBlueシリーズの絵本。アルファベットの本の初級編という感じかな。

Humphrey Carpenter「Mr Majeika's Postbag」★★★★
これは、このシリーズには珍しい短編集もの。ちょっと絵が他とは違う感じだった
けれど、短編集なのはいいなぁと思いました。

表題通りの内容というか、そんな感じの、絵がかわいい絵本です。

フォニックス絵本でLRしました。
CDは、さすがに遅すぎかなぁ・・・という気がしますが、朗読は悪くはないです。
絵本が、そんなに絵がかわいくなくて、ちょっと単調なのが残念かな。
でも、1Packに12冊もはいっているのでちょっとお得かも。

100語ちょっとの絵本です。LevelCで、50-60語くらいの単語数です。
ややしつけ絵本というようなものもはいってはいたのですが、結構かわいい絵の
作品が多かったし、読んでいて楽しかったです。
LevelCと、LevelC(?)のSamシリーズが仲でもお気に入りです。

Arleta Richardson「Grandma's Attic Novels7:Wedding Bells Ahead」★★★★☆
メイベルを主人公としたシリーズ7巻目。19世紀の終わりくらいのアメリカが舞台。
一巻から三巻までがメイベルおばあちゃんが幼い頃の話を孫娘に聞かせるという
スタイルで、四巻から少女から大人になっていくメイベルの様子が書かれています。
一巻から読んでいると、メイベルも大人になったんだなぁと感慨深いです。
婚約者の話、働いている学校での話・・・などがでてきて、立派に対処しているのが
子供の頃を思うとすごいなぁと、大草原シリーズは、移住ものですが、同じ時代の
定住ものということで読み比べるのも楽しいです。

Daisy Meadows「Rainbow Magic4 : Fern the green fairy」★★★☆
色の妖精を救おうというシリーズのようですが、ファンタジーというほどでもないし、
物語自体がちょっと物足りないかな。
かわいくて、無難に読めるシリーズだとは思いますが・・・。

一冊読み始めたら、すっごく楽しくて、やめられないとまらないで、ただいま制覇中のシリーズです。
オカルト好きな少年が、ちょっとオカルトチックな出来事に巻き込まれてという感じかな。
少年Zackは、両親が離婚していて、双方の親の間を行ったり来たりのようですが、このシリーズ
の中では父といつも一緒。このお父さんが、いいキャラで結構好き。
おばあちゃんや、ひいおじいちゃんもいいキャラなんだけど。
一冊読みきりではあるのですが、割と前の作品に触れていたりするので、できれば順に読む方が
楽しめるかなと思います。

小学生私立探偵のJigsaw Jonesのシリーズ。
10巻までは、いろいろな本が出てくるのが楽しいと思っていたのですが、本があんまり出てこなく
なって、ちょっと残念かな。でも、安心して楽しめるシリーズです。
このシリーズも制覇したいなと思っています。

Marjorie Weiman Sharmat「Nate the Great on the Owl Express」★★★★
こちらも小学生私立探偵のNateくんのシリーズ。挿絵が変わってしまうと物語のタッチまで
変わってしまうような気がするのよね。
たくさん読みたいなんだけど、あの絵と文章のタッチが続かないさびしさみたいなのは
あるかなぁ・・・。

Oscar Wilde「The Happy Prince」★★★★
とても有名な「幸福な王子」です。
English Journaiの付録CDでLRしたのですが、このオーディオブックは、結構イメージと
違っていて、ちょっと残念でした・

LLLも、Story Streetが読み終わったし、ORTもと読み始めました。
こっちの絵の方が、マンガっぽい感じです。
まだ、Stageが下の方なので、お話しというほどでもないかな。
LLLの後だと、ちょっと比較してしまうので、★は少なめになってしまいましたが、
こちらも、同じようにだんだん物語がふくらんでいく感じで楽しいです。
軽く楽しめる方が好きな方はこっちがいいのかなぁ・・・。

「千と千尋の物語」のアニメマンガのような作品。ちょっと途中が抜けてしまったのが
残念なのですが、また、そこはそのうちに読めるかな。柏葉幸子さんの「霧のむこうの
ふしぎな町」が原案ときいていたのですが、一人のキャラくらいでしたね。。
HANAEさんのご報告を見て、読んでみましたが、これはとても面白かったです。
映画も見てみたくなりました。

コミカルな少女マンガといった感じの作品かな。主人公の女の子の切り開いていく
ような元気な感じと、適当におばかな感じが楽しくって結構はまってしまいました。

問題な小学生の男の子と、小学生の女優の女の子が主人公のシリーズなのかな。
ちょっとシリアスな雰囲気も・・・。
うむむ・・・これはちょっと苦手かなぁ。
苦手というか、「KareKano」にもそんな要素があるのですが、家庭の問題が、
子供への接し方が、アダルトチルドレンが・・・みたいなのが、あまりにも安易に
作品として扱われているような・・・という作品が多くて、ちょっと辟易気味なので、
この作品も、どうなのかなーという気持ちが残りました。。

「僕の地球を守って」は、全巻読んだので先は分かっているのですが、やっぱり面白い。
でも、このころは、ちょっと暴力シーンが多いかも？？

少女マンガらしい少女マンガという感じで楽しかったです。
日本語だとあんまりマンガ読まないので、結構新鮮というのもあるのかもしれません。。

Lucy Maud Montgomery「Chronicles of Avonlea」★★★★☆
邦題は「アンの友達」ほとんどの作品が、日本語で何度も読んでいるので、題名だけでも
あの話と分かるような感じなのですが・・・。アンのシリーズは、（これをアンのシリーズと
いっていいのか分かりませんが）本編の8冊よりも、短編集の2冊の方が好きかも。
アヴォンリーの町のスケッチ集といった感じの作品です。
