〉Hi, this is Moring.
Hi, Moring-san! This is Chikuwa.
Sakai-sensei introduced me this message of yours.
Sakai-sensei and I talked about the song, “Country Road”
in the Square of Games (Hobbies)
You once lived in the state of Virginia, next to West Virginia.
I took a look at those states in my atlas (from my high school days).
I learned Virginia is a plain state and faces to the Atlantic Ocean. You said you enjoyed the beach.
West Virginia is a mountainous state.
I couldn’t find Blueridge Mountains and Shenando(sorry, I don’t know the spelling) River …
Is “Blueridge Mountains” a name of certain mountains? Or it means “blue ridge mountains"? I don’t remember …
Anyway you know the big, beautiful nature of the area, right?
And now, my abrupt question.
Do you like the song, “Country Road”, Moring-san?
When you sing the song, your song would be full of vivid feelings, I imagine.
You have the memories of the area, so your song could be “alive”.
I like singing the song very much, but I’m afraid mine is not so “alive”,
because I learned the words from a word card (lyrics).
I practiced singing the song in MY ROOM (but anyway I enjoyed it)!
Now I think the gap seems to be the same as the one between English through Tadoku-reading
and school English. I’m a little sad…
And yet, I like the song, “Country Road” very much! Moring-san! If we have a chance, why don’t we sing along the song one day? Along with Sakai-sensei !
(Or you would like Hard Rock music better?)
Thank you for your message about your days in the state of Virginia, and thank you for your reading!
The same to the readers.
See you!
